• Another Tory Trick

If anyone was surprised by the Conservative government's plan to overhaul federal affirmative action policies, they should be. Given the fact that the long-form census has been dominating the headlines for the last few weeks -- culminating in the resignation of Canada's chief statistician, former head of Statistics Canada Munir Sheikh -- we find it simply incredible that the PMO would decide to throw another stick at the public opinion hornet's nest and start attacking affirmative action.
