A week after returning from two months in Italy, I find myself the victim of culture shock in my own country. It's difficult to settle back into a "normal" day-to-day life after an experience in which I was obliged to adjust to Italian culture, language and style. While I didn't run away with a cappuccino-drinking boy on a Vespa (though not for lack of trying), I did manage to find plenty of adventures in my two months.
