Among the new U.S. stores, 60 will be in its mid-size, 30,000-square-foot format, with 20 full-size stores -- 45,000 square feet -- and 10 of its smaller, 20,000-square-foot stores. Best Buy said most of the new stores should be open in time for the 2007 holiday selling season. The new stores will bring the U.S. Best Buy total to 900.
