The rising cost of land, labour and building materials drove up new-home prices in Winnipeg at a faster clip than in most other parts of the country in March, according to new figures released Monday. Manitoba Home Builders Association president Mike Moore said soaring oil prices are pushing up the cost of petroleum-based building materials, while rising gasoline prices are driving up the cost of transporting the materials from the manufacturing plants to the building sites. Question: I have a question about the water in my home. Anywhere there is standing water, whether it is hot or cold, mould grows. For example, the rim around the washing machine is growing black- and pinkish-coloured mould.
