The complement of outdoor pools in the Wheat City has been reduced by one this year, with the recent decision by management at the Turtle Crossing campground and summer event centre on Grand Valley Road to close its large outdoor pool. The facility also features 130 serviced camping sites, bike trails and will continue to run the on-site baseball diamonds for local senior men's leagues, for the time being.
