Adherence to proper code of ethics is the key to a company's success. Management can help ensure ethical behaviour by educating employees with company values and by acting in accordance with those values. Top level management should serve as an example for their employees. In fact, adherence to a code of ethics hinges on managerial commitment to those ethics.

With the increasing possibilities of providing services to employees through Internet and Intranet applications, Human Resource professionals just need to click once or twice and a specially designed HR website leads to the required information. Employees would no longer be held responsible for the operational and administrative HR activities. Electronic-Human Resource Management (e-HRM) is the engine for pushing down the costs of any company and making it profitable. Information technology has been identified as an impetus of HR's transition to becoming a strategic business partner. In this study, we extend this work one step further and explore the role of information technology in shaping the competency requirements of HR professionals.

This paper empirically examined the level of Japanese work organization and management techniques as practiced in PROTON. It has been argued that the Japanese work organization has been practiced and transferred more successful in the automobile industry because of its higher technicality. The PROTON-MITSUBISHI alliance has now been going for more than two decades (since 1982). Although PROTON has not yet been able to produce its own engine unless the CamPro engine with Waja model in 1999, this alliance is the best case to test the extent Japanese work organization is practiced to test the degree of transfer in the best sector and the best project to be studied.
