This paper empirically examined the level of Japanese work organization and management techniques as practiced in PROTON. It has been argued that the Japanese work organization has been practiced and transferred more successful in the automobile industry because of its higher technicality. The geography of accounting enabled the workers at Chelsea to have their working experience sequestered by the company. Decision making concerning issues of consumption and production is seen as a key arena for the articulation of gender relations within the farm family.
