[Flick]'s touchdown came with Saskatchewan nursing a four-point lead and made rookie head coach Kent Austin's return to Toronto a victorious one. Austin joined the Argos as their offensive co-ordinator in '04 -- helping the club win the Grey Cup that year -- but was fired last season.
Despite Austin's offensive credentials, it's been Saskatchewan's defence that's anchored the club's impressive start. The Roughriders came into this game first or second in 20 of the CFL's 25 defensive categories.

In what Court of Queen's Bench Justice John Menzies called a "clear act of dishonesty," Luanne Warburton, 41, was convicted yesterday of two counts of fraud during her tenure as general manager of both the Brandon University Students Union Inc. and the Assiniboine Community College Students Association. Police and BUSU evidence presented by crown attorney Merv Hart showed that between June 2002 and May 2003, Warburton abused her position as BUSU general manager by racking up more than $24,000 in credit card and petty cash purchases, as well as items obtained with her signing authority.

[Edwin Canseco] was fired in January after medical staff discovered he wasn't registered in the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba's online database. An investigation revealed he had faked his credentials upon being hired in December 2005 and was never licensed to care for patients.

He didn't have the proper qualifications and enrolled in a Red River College course that helps foreign-trained registered nurses acquire the necessary skills for the nursing exams.
Lawyers said they couldn't explain how Canseco "fell through the cracks" but told court significant internal changes have...
