Your editorial (Victors' history, Aug. 31) says the Canadian War Museum's exhibit on Bomber Command is balanced, but the balance, if that's what it is, is achieved with a revisionist's thumb. He was wet with dog slobber," she said. "His back was broken and he was just flopping around, and his lungs were probably squished and he was struggling to breathe." The cat died. A few doors down, a pack of dogs trapped Jo Jo Holiday's cat Timothy right on her deck. "I heard this noise. It's a horrible sound. (A friend) and I ran out and scared off the dogs. One of them had my cat in its mouth." Timothy also died. Even the shelter, called the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Humane Society), admits the pack of dogs was hanging around its kennels until it recently erected a "privacy fence" -- a wooden fence you can't see through.
