There are certain days when I am not sure I am actually living in a democracy. Why, might you ask? It's because the law governing young offenders, forged by bleeding heart elites in complete contravention of the will of ordinary, law-abiding Canadians, is, in the memorable words of Charles Dickens' Mr. Bumble, "an ass." Why don't we speak the truth for a change? The young men described in Mike McIntyre's article are beyond the powers of persuasion. They need to be punished, and we need to be protected from them. The insane law that prohibits consideration of deterrence for young offenders was crafted by Liberals, but Conservative inaction is a disgrace. Why does Gary Doer with his sad face think he deserves an apology? In 2001 there were 30,000 shareholders in the Crocus Investment Fun...
