Once a week, she helps unpack shipments and fill consignment orders sent to churches across the country. She works alongside fellow volunteer Karen Pokrant, an eight-year volunteer, who came to Four Corners after being forced into disability leave from her job. Suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, she was unable to continue working as a nurse.
