From a Canadian perspective, the big change was the absence of the usual impressive booth of Alliance Atlantis. For the past several years, Alliance Atlantis has been the standout presence at Cannes; its booth beckoning buyers with the CSI franchise that it helped finance and to which it held the international sales rights.
