It's an exciting time. Cake has come a long way since the beginning and it's nice to be able to move into a larger space," says [Rebecca McCormack]. "I'm happy I chose the way I went in expanding my business, because I don't think I would have had the same opportunities I have today if I would've opened up a second location. Here in Winnipeg, McCormack's dresses are sold exclusively at Cake Clothing. Since launching a year ago, the dress line has grown up as well. McCormack says the lines that come out each season are becoming more refined and better designed, thanks in part to great customer feedback. The designer says she tries to incorporate the styles and looks that local customers are requesting when she creates the dresses.
