Children's Hospital Book Market accepts donations year-round of soft and hardcover books in good condition. No Reader's Digests or encyclopedias. The tenants are incredibly grateful. It's the middle of winter. It's frigidly cold outside to force people out who might become homeless or end up in substandard housing," said the tenants' lawyer, Byron Williams, of the Public Interest Law Centre of Legal Aid Manitoba.
"We're not the kind of people who want people kicked out," said Jon Mushaluk. "But things are not going well."
