In recognition of the growing importance of small business ownership by women to the economic well-being of national economies, considerable academic attention has been given to identifying the reasons why women enter self-employment. According to a Transport Canada spokeswoman, the suspension dates back to deficiencies first identified in March of this year related to documentation ensuring regular and required maintenance on the company's fleet of five Lear 35 jets.
We are working hard to rectify the shortcomings towards the termination of that suspension," [Jeff McIntosh] said.
The move comes on the heels of the company's second consecutive award as the International Travel Insurance Journal's award for best marketing campaign. Earlier this year, McIntosh was named Ernst & Young's emerging entrepreneur of the year in the Prairie regional entrepreneur of the year program.
