Domenic Sacco, Winnipeg Dodge Chrysler's newly appointed general sales manager, points to the new model's "Swivel 'N' Go" seating, for example, which allows seats to turn 360 degrees while you're belted in. "It makes it easier for parents to strap in their babies and for seniors to get in," Sacco says. "You can also set up a table in the centre and turn around and play cards or have lunch.
This is a state-of-the-art facility and among the greenest body shops in the province," says Winnipeg Dodge Chrysler president Walt Morris. "All of our paints are water-based. We are not using any solvents. Our Curetonmic curing system promotes natural drying. Our collision centre uses all OEM parts."

My iPod hasn't had new songs downloaded since my eldest daughter left home. She's back but I'm afraid to ask her to explain the whole iTunes thing again. She's mean when she's angry.
A tweet can only be 140 characters long, so it lends itself perfectly to such fascinating news as "went to gym, worked hard" or this, from Oprah: : "hi everyone. sadie's great. gets her rabies vaccine today.

While most of Desco's polished concrete work is for commercial and industrial clients such as Home Depot and Sobeys, it's also becoming popular in homes, he says.
It's the fastest growing floor finish in North America. It's really amazing what you can do with concrete now.
There's still a big demand for the specialized floor and wall coatings that have served Desco so well since [Daryl Samycia]'s father Nestor and uncle Orest started the company in 1956 with just a two-horse-power air compressor.

With a title like Light Fixtures and Stairwells, one would think the work of Sarah Crawley would be incredibly mundane and amateurish. But that would be far from the truth. In her latest exhibition at Gallery 803, this experienced and respected Winnipeg photographer delves into the collisions of old and emerging technology while exploring spaces and shapes within her frames.
There is a very specific feel to Crawley's photographs. Each image is a hyper-hazy micro look at some object in everyday life. From garage doors to human skin to weather vanes, Crawley explores the way in which memory is processed on both a psychological and photographic level.
In Light Fixtures and Stairwells, Crawley focuses on these objects and places that she found while in Belgrade, Serbia. With their ethereal...

We are asking the health minister immediately to ban these ads," said Louis Gauvin, spokesman for the Quebec Coalition for Tobacco Control.
Another trumpets the kindlier second-hand smoke offered by Mirage: "First in Canada with unique Less Smoke Smell (LSS) Technology." Mirage's cigarette paper is coated in vanilla.
"If I was a smoker, my reaction might be that this is less harmful second-hand smoke to my friends," Gauvin said. "They will smell vanilla and it will be more agreeable. For us, this is trickery.

While some buildings on the 650-acre plant site house support companies that supply steel to the stamping plant or transmissions to the assembly line, Kia's own manufacturing and assembly plant consists of four huge structures -- the stamping plant, the welding plant, the paint plant and the final assembly plant. Let's take a look inside.
Inner and outer structures are welded together by robots, accompanied by the occasional shower of sparks, until the sub-assemblies all come together in a master jig that laser-aligns the panels before welding them together. The body moves through a glass-walled inspection area where the 2,100 welds are checked and the occasional sharp point ground off. Then it's overhead by conveyor to the paint shop.
Kia has invested a lot of money in this facility, b...
