Begin by holding a hot hair dryer under one corner of the sticker. Blow hot air onto the board and peel the sticker as you hold the hair dryer in place. You will be amazed at how well this works. Use a plastic putty knife to scrape away gummy residue. Next apply Murphy's Oil Soap or olive oil onto the surface to give the board a good cleaning. If the sticker remains, in a ventilated area spray the area with WD-40. Leave for 15 minutes and peel. Test WD-40 on an inconspicuous area before using it on the Crokinole Board.

. What is laminate flooring? A manufactured process that sandwiches composite fibreboard material between two sheets of melamine. The upper layer may contain a sheet of real hardwood or may be a photo of wood that has a thick sealant overtop. Before purchasing laminate, experiment with the "hammer test": Bang the wood with a hammer, if it breaks or dents, choose a higher quality product. It may cost more, but it will be worth it.
. Advantages of laminate flooring: Gaining popularity and is cheaper than most kinds of flooring. Available in many different patterns and colours. Can be installed by a relatively inexperienced handywoman (or man). Glued-together laminate is less popular than click-together laminate (click-together is faster to install). Clean laminate with a dampened micr...

Don't let this little roll-on fool you. It's not your average deodorant, but it's precisely what you need to pack if you're an unfortunate sufferer of excessive sweating or body odour, otherwise known as hyperhidrosis. If you've been avoiding tropical vacations, this product will help take the worry out of this embarrassing condition. Start by applying it at night, before you go to bed, for two to three days. Apply sparingly, and I mean sparingly, or you'll feel itchy and uncomfortable. In the morning, wash as usual and get on with your day. Be careful not to use it on broken or wet skin, and avoid shaving for 48 hours before applying. It's designed to be applied only two to three times a week.

Although popcorn ceilings are a popular choice, they have a few disadvantages: They can "date" a home's look, since smoother ceiling finishes are now more popular. Also, the pebbly texture traps dust and dirt and is difficult to patch. The advantage to popcorn ceilings is that it covers up imperfections on the ceiling.
. Aluminium ceilings are installed like all other drop ceilings as the panels are fitted to the previously built framework. An aluminium ceiling is longer- lasting than a plaster ceiling, durable and attractive even after a long time. These ceilings will not rust or crack and the material is non- porous, therefore it resists moisture and odour.
. To clean a ceiling fan, cover your hands in clean socks turned inside out, dampen with a cleaner (or olive oil for wood)...

Combine Dawn dish soap and water, then use an abrasive cloth to scrub wood along the grain. Or clean cupboards with Murphy's Oil Soap, scrub and rinse. Or use the following 'Mother Hubbard's Cupboard Cleaner' recipe: Combine one to two cups vinegar, one cup ammonia (optional), half-cup baking soda and two gallons water. Cover hands with rubber gloves and draw a small amount onto a sponge, wipe each cupboard (along the grain to prevent streaking).
If the smell persists, lightly sand and then clean with 'Mother Hubbard's Cupboard Cleaner' recipe. More serious options are to paint or stain inside cupboards or apply Mactac as shelf liners, but you will likely not need to resort to these.
