Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a group of neuro-developmental disorders that is associated with difficulties in communication, learning and social skills. This group of disorders includes autism, pervasive developmental disorder, and [Asperger]'s Syndrome.
People with ASD have difficulty dealing with change, performing best when life presents them a consistent and predictable environment. Hyperactivity, under-activity, and differential responses to sensory information are associated with ASD. Asperger's Syndrome is a disorder believed to be at the higher end of the autism spectrum. Intellectual scores among this group are typically in the normal to superior range.

[...] Williams, Lingren, Rowe, Van Zandt and Stinnett (1985) refer to family strengths as those relationship patterns, interpersonal skills and competencies, and social and psychological characteristics-which create a sense of positive family identity, promote satisfying and fulfilling interaction among family members, encourage the development of the potential of the family group and individual family members, and contribute to the family's ability to deal effectively with stress and crisis. Until the 1990s, school libraries were a low priority in the South Korean educational system. But the Korean government has now developed a five-year master plan for improving school libraries. Similarly, the government has undertaken significant educational reform in order to cultivate creative human resources through open education and lifelong learning. The implementations of these educational reforms are based on information and communication technology (ICT) in education and the seventh educational curriculum. In addition to these policies, the activity of NGOs has been effective in developing school libraries. Today, South Korea has a modern, well-developed school library system.

Next most important is the analysis of your workforce. Examine the various occupations, skills and experience, your risk for retirement, the nature of diversity in your organization, turnover rates and other trend data. Conduct a supply and demand analysis, identify the gaps and then develop a strategy for overcoming them. Develop a concrete profile of your workforce so that you know where you are in terms of the right number of people with the right skills. Don't forget to look at salaries, retirement eligibility statistics and retirement patterns and hiring patterns.

A relational model of information literacy (Bruce, 1997) has been used as a framework for examining national policies, teacher education, curriculum integration, and assessment issues relating to information literacy and lifelong learning. Initiatives by a range of stakeholders are included to illustrate shared responsibility and support for the educational goals. Successful development of the information and communications technology capacity in schools and extension of technological skills of teachers have yet to be matched in teacher education by explicit, systematic attention to the broader requirements of information literacy. National curriculum documents imply an intention to ensure that information literacy continue to be embedded in essential learning areas, but indications are...

This study draws on the Theory of Planned Behaviour to examine the role of gender in the decision to be mentored. Contrary to expectations, men and women employ similar decision criteria in the decision to seek a mentor. The primary driver for seeking a mentor was to obtain psychosocial support, including personal support, acceptance, having a confidant, being trusted and friendship. Men were more likely than women to seek a mentor when they valued increased autonomy. The implications of the findings for protégés, mentors and career development professionals are noted.
