You can also climb a giant hay bale pyramid and visit the pumpkin barn that's stocked with thousands of pumpkins ready for your carving. There are also hay rides, pony rides, a petting zoo and a haunted forest (which opens Oct. 12). * Pumpkin Carving Workshop, Oct. 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: A huge selection of patterns, saws and scoops will help you carve a great-looking pumpkin. Bring your own pumpkin or there's a limited quantity available at the centre for $3. Participants wearing a Halloween costume get in free. Upon returning to the museum, there is a short program about Gimli and New Iceland and refreshments.
