QUESTION: Yesterday we booked (online) a room at a brand-name hotel in Edmonton. We found we needed to cancel the reservation but there seemed to be no way to cancel online (as would normally be possible). We therefore phoned the reservation service and the hotel itself. Each of them flatly declined to cancel -- even though our original reservation had been placed much less than 24 hours earlier, and even though the reservation arrival date is more than five days away. The site even carried the words "no fees to book, modify or cancel a reservation." Can you help?
