Too late for much of Winnipeg. Far and away the most new development has occurred in sprawling suburbs at the city's edge. Subdivisions of mainly single-family houses that grew slowly in the 1990s are being built out, for example, Royalwood, Canterbury Park, Richmond North and River Park South.
