But this is the item that is on the front burner. I'm not going to say when the announcement will come, I'm just going to say it's sooner rather than later -- if the right circumstances come to be and we find the right characteristics of the person we're looking for. I know that's vague, but when we announce it is not the important part of it.
"There was certainly no intention to cause any disruption with any other team in the league with us announcing that we were relieving our head coach of his duties," [Lyle Bauer] said Friday. "I've spoken to (Eskimo president and CEO) Rick LeLacheur. There's no question that people know of past relationships, and so it led to speculation.

THE GOVERNMENT OF ONTARIO is introducing a new driver's licence to make fraudulent Ontario driver's licences easier to detect and more difficult to tamper with or counterfeit, as well as providing increased protection of personal data on the cards. Giesecke & Devrient Systems Canada, Inc. (G&D) will be providing the end-to-end solution for these new substrate high security cards. The new licences could also, with a few changes, be an acceptable document under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) - a new US law that requires all travellers, including Canadians, to carry a valid passport or other appropriate secure document when travelling to the United States from within the western hemisphere.
Why now? There are three main reasons for moving to the new tamper-resistan...

It may not look like it, but this anti-theft device is all you'll need to keep your valuables safe, virtually anywhere. The Travelsafe 100 is a small, flexible nylon pouch made with steel netting hidden under the nylon body. What's great about this is that the bag cannot be cut off, or broken into -- it's slash-proof, snatch-proof and tamper-proof. Simply place your camera, passport, money and other valuables inside the pouch. Cinch it tightly closed with the stainless steel drawstring cable and lock it. Next, wrap the cable around a secure fixture like a closet rod or bed frame. Your valuables are now secure. Just don't lose the key, or you'll get a lesson on just how secure it really is.

Overall it's a good time to apply for a passport," Passport Canada spokesman Sebastien Bois said. "It's quicker than it's ever been. We're one of the fastest systems in the world.
Bois said in the anticipated rush by Canadians to apply for or renew their passport several steps have been streamlined. For instance, those renewing their passport no longer need a guarantor's signature. A renewal form is available on the Passport Canada's website www.ppt.gc.ca/.
Bois added Canada's passport will introduce its own high-tech epassport in 2011 that, like the EIC, will contain a digital chip that holds the same information as the passport itself, but is virtually impossible to tamper with. Like the card, a passport will be scanned to verify the passport holder's identity. The new feature is be...

We would have to put a dam across the Red River. We would have no option," Sam Schellenberg, CEO of the Pembina Valley Water Co-op (PVWC), said in an interview after his warning to the commission.
[Glen Koroluk] maintained more study is needed on the impact from tapping the Sandilands aquifer. He added local communities shouldn't tamper with the area's unique ecology. "It would signal additional water from the region is for the taking," he said.
Earlier, Steve Wiecek of UMA Engineering, which did the impact study for the co-op, said there would be no impact on the area from which the water would be drawn, which measures about 10 kilometres by eight kilometres. The PVWC would only install a 12-inch pipe, restricting the discharge to a maximum 50 litres per second, versus a rate of rech...

A coolant leak will cause the smoke to be whiter and it may have a semi-sweet smell. The engine might also run rough for a few seconds at startup because the coolant may have fouled a spark plug. I don't think the smoke from your vehicle is caused by a coolant leak, but removing the spark plugs will help diagnose the problem. Coolant leaking into a cylinder will clean the carbon off the spark plug and the top of the piston.
Last winter, on rare occasions, my wife's 1998 Chevy Malibu wouldn't start -- it wouldn't turn over and the "anti-theft lock" light on the dash came on. After a 10-minute wait, the car would start fine and the light goes out. Now it's starting to do this about every second day or so.
ANSWER -- Your car has a PassLock anti-theft system. A magnet on the cylinder assem...
