Based on a thorough assessment of the extensive data set generated by our sampling program, our study report concluded that: "Generally, the air quality in the Transcona area was found to be good with air quality guidelines rarely being exceeded. Air pollutant levels were generally very low, typically only a small fraction of the air quality guidelines and similar to the air quality found in other areas of Winnipeg." Our data do not support the claim that air quality is worse in Transcona nor do they support the contention that measurements made at Transcona locations are markedly different from measurements made in other areas of Winnipeg.
