Where else can one expect to encounter vocabulary like "kludged" and find oneself resorting to a visual thesaurus for definition and amplification? (Note: and unconsciously slipping into multisyllabic diction). No doubt he is qualified to do so. Yet starting most paragraphs with the pronoun "I" is less than attractive. Surely an editor should have advised a little more modesty of approach. Arthur is unlikely to encounter critical responses from his peers to his highly sophisticated perspective on technology.
