The work comes from the Galapagos Islands, where [Sarah Anne Johnson] travelled in 2005 to do manual labour, restoring damaged landscapes. While they are most famous as the subject of Charles Darwin's studies of his theory of evolution, the islands also hold a place in the popular imagination as an unspoiled tropical paradise. I thought, 'It looks like a fantasy, little elf village, like you'd see in a storybook!' I went, 'Oh, wow! Look at this!'
People always assume she must get sick and tired of Christmas and all its trappings. "You know, I don't," she says. "I love the season, and the decorating. I haven't been jaded at all.
