I was not surprised by the content of Peter Schroedter's column Joy of the Hunt (Oct. 30) as it contained the same nonsensical ramblings I have come to expect from today's "sportsmen". Schroedter tries to justify this violent pastime, but whatever he says to the contrary, hunting is premeditated, cold-blooded killing of innocent animals. Hunting is not as natural an activity as falling in love and making babies as Schroedter claims.
