"We decided it was good timing for an organized umbrella group to represent the best interests of everyone involved in the hobby," offered [Bob Chubala], the association's long-time chairman. "What started with only a handful of local car clubs has grown to an association that represents over 60 clubs and thousands of members."
"We encourage people to join a car club and point them in the right direction," added [Gord Forman]. "Asking questions and aligning yourself with knowledgeable people in the hobby is not only a great way to make new friends but also ensures you'll get the advice and wisdom required to make a safe and roadworthy vehicle." Every July, Chubala heads to Spearfish, S.D. for the National Impala Association's annual convention. "The cars bring us together but the people keep us together," added Chubala.
