"I am glad that [Jeny Kachan] understands that not all people in our community are as bullish and narrow-minded as her current neighbour," she wrote. "She and her family would like to stay in the community and I will try to help her find a place close by. I consider Jeny a friend and it would definitely be sad to see her leave the community."

"We are looking for another house," Alex Kachan said Monday morning. "Agency said we can stay, but we don't want to now. Kids don't feel free. We don't feel free in apartment."

He said he and Jeny feel worse about [Mel Bennett] and Vinora Bennett, the caretaking couple who lost their job and their home. "We hope they be finding other work," Alex said. "They friends. They try to help, and now this."
