Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe denies he is involved in a palace revolt to overthrow the beleaguered leader of the Parti Québécois as the nasty open war between the separatist kingpins continues.

One day after PQ Leader André Boisclair trained his heavy artillery on Duceppe -- telling him bluntly to mind his own business in the BQ and stop his behind-the-scenes scheming to oust him -- a furious Duceppe fired back, saying Boisclair's comments floored him.

"I do not see any basis for his statements," Duceppe said Saturday in an interview with the LCN TV network. "On the other hand, I know André Boisclair is under a lot of pressure at this time.
