"If you're a fan of the game of ice hockey, then you'll be a fan of ball hockey," said [Stephen George], one of the organizers of the tournament -- which will be played at St. Norbert Arena and Varsity View Community

"It's more like street hockey because you're wearing sneakers," said George, adding that in ball hockey the icing rule is in effect during the last minute of play only.

"When I played ice hockey, ball hockey kept me in shape in the summer. I would recommend it to any young player during the off-season," stressed George, adding that a lot of top junior and pro ice hockey players have played in the MBHA during the off-season.
