Summary


List and review your accomplishments. Most people take themselves for granted. They forget all of the wonderful accomplishments, big and small that they have achieved. Make a list of everything you have accomplished in the past three months, both at work, in a volunteer role or at home. You'll be pleasantly surprised and you'll feel a whole lot better about yourself. Post the list on the fridge for a week and read it every day.

Reward yourself. Many of us have a special reward or treat that we have enjoyed since childhood. Whether this is having a chocolate bar, ice cream, going to the movies or buying a new outfit, make plans to treat yourself. But don't wait until the very end of your goal, reward yourself as you reach each of the milestones too.

Treat yourself to a massage. If you haven't tried a massage, now is the time. It's a pleasure and stress reliever to have a therapist tackle those stiff muscles and work out all the knots. When you finish, you'll feel like a new person and you'll be ready to tackle any work task.
