Members of the Bishop Grandin Greenway community group will be out with shovels in tow this morning, and they're inviting the public to help plant more than 30 fruit trees and numerous shrubs near Bishop Grandin and St. Mary's Road.
Group president Murray Gibson said to the group's knowledge, "It's probably the first orchard that's been planted on a public space" in Winnipeg.Bishop Grandin Green Space to Be Home to Public Orchard
