In Saturday's game, the Bisons outshot UBC 7-6 but were unable to find the back of the net. UBC's goal was scored in the 58th minute on a long ball by midfielder Jenna Clark that arced over the head and just out of reach of Bisons goalkeeper and player-of-the-game Ashley Forbes.

"She works hard all the time, she works hard up front and she works hard defensively, she's a scrapper," Bisons head coach Walter McKee said with a grin. "Every team needs a scrapper and that's why we play her as much as we can play her."
