It was a touchdown courtesy of the special teams unit that got the wheels in motion for the Bombers in Thursday's win. When Greg Bearman smothered the ball in the end zone after it bounced out of Alouette returner Mike Imoh's hands, it lit a fire under the belly of a Winnipeg team that needed a serious boost.

McDiarmid said that his troops are executing well on kick coverage, but there's still room for improvement in their returns. The Bombers haven't yet been able to spring Albert Johnson III for a big return.
