Door No. 5's stunning C-major revelation hits home as does much else, though the recording sounds a bit outside the orchestra rather than in the middle where it should be. Mezzo Andrea Meláth is shy on vocal allure and bass Gustáv Belácek isn't quite convincing mixing Bluebeard's menace and grief.
