Trevor Denning, 39, was seriously injured in February 2008 after he chased a trio of teen boys down his street after they threw snowballs at his house. After catching up to one of them and holding him, Denning was stabbed in the side of the chest after the boy he had caught told his friend to "cut him." Denning crawled, bleeding heavily, from doorway to doorway until a neighbour took him into his home and called 911.
