Summary
On Wednesday, Jan. 16, 12 women and two men participated in the "Brave Shave" at Great-West Life. The afternoon was held in support of the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation by Great-West Life employees. With more than $39,000 raised, the "Brave Shave" team exceeded their goal of $25,000 thanks to funds raised though the purchase of $2 tribute ribbons. The afternoon was made possible with the help of host Ace Burpee from Hot 103, volunteer stylists Rebecca Bonni and Britney Robson of Edward Carriere Salon and Crystal Sound.
