With respect to the party buses (Brakes slammed on 'party buses,' June 23): It couldn't have waited three days for any of this to take place? All the party bus companies our school was using for grad have been screwed, and in turn so have we.
I overheard on the news that the bus companies passed their initial inspections and were cleared to do business. Even though they had been cleared, they were still shut down due to "safety violations." I'm an 18-year-old graduate who was looking to have a great time on my grad night, to be with my friends and drive around to get pictures taken. We don't want or tolerate drunk driving, but then when someone comes up with an alternative, we shut them down. This really does not make sense to me or my family. We in Winnipeg have created a life of partying for our young and our students, and now we want to take away a safe way for the kids to do this. Duh?See the full content of this document
