McDiarmid Lumber is planning to close its Meadowood Drive store late this year or early next year and open a new store somewhere in south Winnipeg at a larger location.

[McDiarmid] operates from nine locations in Manitoba, including five in Winnipeg, three in Saskatchewan and one in northwest Ontario.
