An article on the CBC website from Nov. 18, 2003 tells us: Manitobans who play casinos and video lottery terminals are the most likely in Canada to have gambling problems, according to new numbers from Statistics Canada. More than 10 per cent of the population of Brandon will be affected by gambling, not including those who will be affected as neighbours, fellow employees, law enforcement officials, medical and other close relatives.
