Canadian Astronaut Hopes to Set a Record in Space

Summary


The launch Aug. 7 will be the second space voyage for [Dave Williams], 53, and his first trip to the space station. Williams spent 16 days on the space shuttle Columbia in 1998.

"There's nothing you can be complacent about. I think it's going to be really exciting and challenging," said Williams, who has been spending time in the gym preparing himself physically as well training with simulators.
