Rhythmical concerns and note attacks were especially noticeable in the brass section.This seemed to affect some of the dancers, particularly the corps de ballet and segments featuring all-male sequences. The set was sparse - an elevated wide screen displayed graphics of the thematic symbols of a rose, a bull and a deck of tarot cards, along with a dozen or so chairs, a table and a black dance floor, with a white circular mat dominating the centre.
