Summary
[ANTHONY Bourdain] is a celebrity. Author of the 2001 bestseller, Kitchen Confidential, former host of A Cook's Tour on the Food Network, current host of No Reservations on the Travel Channel, and inspiration for a television sitcom based on his life (Fox TV's 2005 Kitchen Confidential, since cancelled), he's earned a reputation as a chef whose culinary skills are matched only by his public swagger.
"By the time the waiter had dutifully replaced the refolded napkin on my lap, surely no one in the dining room was left uninformed as to exactly where I'd been and what I'd had to do.
