Coach Mike Sirant of the University of Manitoba men's hockey team has recruited Troy Crowley, 20, of Winnipeg and Travis Mealy, 24, of Brandon for the 2009-10 season.

Other international players who will be in action include Rune Ulsing and Britta Anderson of Denmark, Heung Ham of Korea, and Allen Sutedja and Lely Chandra of Indonesia. Other Canadian players will include: 2008 Olympians Andrew Dabeka and Anna Rice, 2009 U23 national champion Alex Pang, 2009 national doubles champions William Milroy and Toby Ng, and 2009 women's doubles champions Milaine Cloutier and Grace Gao. Admission is $10.

The teams will compete in a fun tournament on three mini-fields using a pitching machine from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Teams will be from Deer Lodge, Gateway, Charleswood, Winakwa and Sinclair Park Community Centres in Winnipeg along with teams from Birtle, Dauphin, Pilot Mound, Portage la Prairie, Wawanesa, Kenora and Steinbach.
