RCMP have laid charges against some people for violating the mandatory evacuation order for north Breezy Point.

Officials with the RM of St. Andrews understand people want to see their property but the area isn't safe, with slabs of ice blocking roads, felled hydro poles, and water starting to rise again, Paul Guyader, the RM's emergency operations co-ordinator, said.
