"How do I prove my children are real?" [Rob Chateauneuf] asked. "The hospital sent in all the forms when they were born. Are they going to want my wife's mat(ernity)-leave payments back, too?"

"Now not only do they want repayment for the money we've received, they've stopped sending us the money that we're legitimately entitled to," Chateauneuf said.

Then they didn't receive this month's child-care allowance cheque. "We were told to do nothing, that it takes five to six weeks to fix a problem like this, but now they've stopped sending us money."
