The pair have a small manufacturing operation nearby located in the basement of [Drew Taylor]'s father's architectural firm, where they have a small handful of sewers on staff. Roughly half of the clothing on its shelves is Taylor and [Christopher Gottzmann]'s own brand, called Lokus Signature Apparel. Other prominent names for sale include Boomerang 360, Kelly Ruth and Alex Espinosa, all of which are designed and produced locally.

"You can go to the fabric store, pick out fabrics you like, bring it to us and we'll make something out of it," he said. "So far it's been great. People see it and say, 'Cool, I made this!' They know they had a part in what they're wearing instead of going to the mall and picking out something a million other people have."

"They've helped us out by bringing a lot of traffic by our shop. It's quite a thing that they moved in next door. They're the big chain and we're the little dudes," Taylor said.
