Cochrane gets a chunk of tourism dollars.

Cochrane is the recipient of $1.6 million in provincial funding to boost tourism.

Of that money, $1 million will go toward the construction of a 3,500-square-foot special events pavilion on Commando Lake. The pavilion will feature permanent restrooms, change rooms, a stage, and kitchen.
