Summary
As a Manitoban living in Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico, a small town near Puerto Vallarta, I am writing to let all Manitobans who love to come to this area know that the H1N1 virus has not changed all of the things that bring tourists here each year. We have not had any cases of flu here and what we have seen is a very responsible approach to preventing a widespread epidemic. The states of Nayarit and Jalisco have responded with school closures, cancellations of fiestas and restaurant and night club closures.
