"I'm abiding by the court ruling," Robinson said, adding the outcome of the case does not reflect on his political life. "This is no one's business but my own."

"The petitioner told me I was the father of her child," Robinson said in an affidavit. "However, I have never been certain. I have no knowledge of the petitioner's activities or lifestyle at or around the time the child was conceived. I have significant doubts that I am the father of the child and I therefore request a paternity test be performed."

"...We are working through it together," she said in the statement. "My daughter and I are standing by [Eric Robinson] 100 per cent. It is nobody's business but ours as a family unit..."
